What we do

We deal in three things: sarees, girlish laancha, and lehengas — both bridal and party wear. Within that we carry a wide fabric range: georgette, chiffon, silk, banarasi, net, velvet and cotton. A large part of our range is Rajasthani work — gota patti, bandhani and leheriya.

We buy directly from our factory partners rather than through middlemen. That is the only reason we can sell at the prices we do.

Who we sell to

Both retail and wholesale. Retailers and boutique owners across the region buy from us in sets, and we have done that for decades. But we also sell single pieces to customers who simply want one good saree at a fair price.

Why we started selling online

For most of our history, people came to Subhash Bazaar to buy from us. Over the last few years, more and more of our orders started arriving over WhatsApp — from customers in other cities, and from resellers who could not travel to Agra every month.

This website is that, made easier. The same stock, the same prices, the same shop.

What we will tell you plainly

There is a lot of loose language in this trade. Printed gota is sold as gota patti work. Bandhani print is sold as bandhani. Silk blend is sold as silk.

If you ask us a direct question about a fabric or a piece of work, you will get a direct answer. That is not a marketing position. It is simply how a shop survives seventy-eight years in the same market.

Before you order

Every piece we list is physically with us in the shop. Ask us for a video, a close-up of the work, or a photograph in daylight, and we will send it before you pay.
